strategic decisions are made at the highest level. Realization is a subsequent problem<br />

where any algorithm or approach may be applied.<br />

Advantages of MDM Application<br />

Some of advantages have already been mentioned in previous text. Use of MDM allows<br />

company to ease the workload of managerial staff, fasten decision making processes<br />

and helps to avoid mistakes (by leaving important information out of decision making).<br />

In general, the use of MDM as a support tool for making managerial (strategic)<br />

decisions gives company a significant advantage against competition. Nowadays, it is<br />

possible to simulate, visualize and present reasons for decisions made by computer. It<br />

is also possible to use computer decision making to handle lower-level decisions and<br />

stereotypical decision making situation, which enables management to focus on<br />

strategic decisions alone.<br />
