Praca podejmuje tematykę rewitalizacji osiedli
wielkopłytowych. Część teoretyczna zawiera analizy
współczesnych teorii kształtowania miast, zgodnych
z rozwojem zrównoważonym, Nową Kartą Ateńską i Kartą
Nowej Urbanistyki; następnie, analizie poddane jest
środowisko zamieszkania osiedli wielkopłytowych; ostatnia
część obejmuje analizy przykładów rewitalizacji osiedli
wielkopłytowych w krajach Europy Zachodniej. Część
projektowa jest próbą przełożenia wniosków z części
teoretycznej na projekt rewitalizacji na przykładzie osiedla
„Chomiczówka” w Warszawie. Zawiera rys historyczny
i analizę stanu istniejącego osiedla oraz opis projektu
urbanistycznego, obejmującego całe osiedle i szczegółowe
rozwiązanie głównej przestrzeni publicznej, a także projekt
architektoniczny zabudowy usługowej bazarku.
The redevelopment of prefabricated
housing estates. Complementing
the functional and spatial structure
and creating a local centre of the
Chomiczówka estate in Warsaw’s
Bielany district
The project tackles the subject of redeveloping prefabricated
estates. The theoretical part contains analyses of modern
theories of urban shaping compliant with sustainable
development, the New Charter of Athens and the Charter
of the New Urbanism; next, it analyses the living environment
of prefabricated estates; the final part contains analyses of
examples of redeveloping prefabricated housing estates in
Western Europe. The design part is an attempt to translate the
conclusions from the theoretical part into a redevelopment
design, using the example of the Chomiczówka estate in
Warsaw. It contains a historic background and analysis of the
existing estate, as well as a description of a planning design
that covers the entire estate and a detailed solution for the
main public space. Additionally, it contains an architectural
design for developing the services buildings at a local
street market.
