Współczesne przekształcenia
warszawskich kamienic czynszowych.
Zachowanie wartości zabytkowych
w procesie rewaloryzacji na przykładzie
budynku wielorodzinnego przy
ul. Waliców 10 w Warszawie
Praca podejmuje temat wpływu współczesnych
przekształceń rewaloryzacyjnych na wartości zabytkowe
warszawskich kamienic czynszowych. W pracy ustalono
specyfikę takiej zabudowy i wyodrębniono jej unikatowe
wartości jako zabytku. Temat przekształceń rozpatrzono
poprzez wyodrębnienie wzorców postępowania spośród
przykładów rzeczywistych działań tego typu. Na ich bazie
opracowano zasady zdrowego projektowania i adaptacji
tych obiektów, które wykorzystano w drugiej części pracy.
Stanowi ją projekt rewaloryzacji XX-wiecznej warszawskiej
kamienicy czynszowej. Jest on adaptacją wolskiego ostańca
do jego pierwotnych funkcji. Budynek projektowany jest
z myślą o cohousingu różnych grup użytkowników. Obiekt
traktowany jest jako „pierwowzór” - inwestycja będąca
bodźcem do przeprowadzenia podobnych działań na
sąsiadujących ostańcach Woli.
Modern transformations of Warsaw
tenement houses. Retaining heritage
values in the process of upgrading –
as an example: a multi-family building
at 10 Waliców Street in Warsaw
The project takes on the subject of the influence of modern
upgrade transformations on heritage values of Warsaw
tenement houses. The project determines the distinctive
features of such developments and isolates their unique
values as listed buildings. The issue of transformation has
been considered through the extraction of best practices
from real-life examples of this sort. Based on this, healthy
design and adaptation principles were developed for these
kind of developments. These principles were employed
in the second part of the project – the upgrade of a 20th
century Warsaw tenement house. It involves transforming
one of the very few buildings to have survived the Second
World War in the Warsaw district of Wola and restoring
it to its original function. The building has been designed
with the idea of the co-housing of various user groups. The
development is seen as a “blueprint” – the investment is a
spur for conducting similar activities in neighbouring prewar
buildings of Wola.
