Współczesny człowiek funkcjonuje w środowisku
racjonalistycznej kultury zdominowanej przez coraz
bardziej technokratyczne dogmaty i normy, w konsekwencji
prowadząc do erozji fundamentalnych wartości w rozumieniu
istoty budowania. Poniższy projekt stanowi próbę stworzenia
domu dla wspólnoty nawiązującego do kultury budowania
„po prostu”- architektury skupionej na geometrii, proporcji
i ścisłej relacji budynku z otoczeniem. Struktura schroniska
stanowi ewolucję wołoskiego wzorca kształtowania wnętrz,
opartego o założenia „czarnej izby” - centralnej przestrzeni
z otwierającym się ku górze wylotem kominowym, skupiającej
codzienne aktywności domowników. W projektowanym
schronisku analogiczną funkcję pełni monolityczny rdzeń,
poprzez system zatopionych w nim rur grzewczych
stanowiąc główne źródło ciepła i akumulator energii.
Dom nie gwarantuje jednorodnego, dającego się w pełni
wyregulować komfortu cieplnego, zakładając powiązanie
budowli i użytkowników jako elementów symbiotycznego
środowiska zamieszkiwania.
The Human House. A student chalet
in the Beskid Żywiecki mountains
The modern human exists in an environment of rational
culture, dominated by increasingly technocratic dogmas
and norms. In consequence, this leads to the erosion
of fundamental values of how the essence of building
development is understood. This project is an attempt
at creating a house for a community that references the
“po prostu” (“just so”) culture of development – architecture
focused on geometry, proportions and a close relationship
between a building and its surroundings. The structure
of the chalet is an evolution of the Wallachian model of
organising the interior of a house, based around the “black
chamber” premise. The black room is a central space with
an upward-opening chimney shaft; it brings together the
household members as they pursue their daily activities.
In the designed chalet, a monolithic core serves a similar
function – through a system of embedded heating pipes, it
is the main source of heat and an energy battery. The house
does not guarantee a uniform, fully adjustable temperature
comfort. It entails a connection between the building and its
users as elements of a symbiotic living environment.
