Adaptacja budynku dawnego kościoła
w Gorzekałach, woj. warmińsko-mazurskie
Opracowanie obejmuje projekt przebudowy i adaptacji
dawnego kościoła w Gorzekałach do nowej funkcji
obiektu kultury. Budynek kościoła objęty jest ochroną
konserwatorską. Projekt jest odpowiedzią na duży
potencjał okolicznych skupisk aktywności społecznej.
Głównym założeniem było utrzymanie czytelności wartości
zabytkowych, a także zachowanie obecnego charakteru
budynku wpisanego w otoczenie bujnej przyrody Mazur.
W projekcie przewidziano wprowadzenie pomieszczeń
uwzględniających nowy program użytkowy. Przestrzeń
główną stanowić będzie sala wielofunkcyjna przeznaczona
do organizacji wystaw, koncertów, warsztatów i lokalnych
imprez. Nowoprojektowana antresola będzie przestrzenią
biurowo-warsztatową. Zakłada się modernizację budynku
oraz wprowadzenie nowych instalacji, a także przystosowanie
obiektu do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych. Dodatkowo
projekt uwzględnia wzniesienie obiektu gospodarczego
w konstrukcji drewnianej przeznaczonego na cele
magazynowe. Przeprowadzona adaptacja ma pomóc
w zachowaniu lokalnej pamięci historycznej i dziedzictwa
kulturowego Mazur.
Conversion of the former church
building in Gorzekały, Warmian-Masurian
Voivodeship
The design includes the re-development and conversion
of a former church building in Gorzekały into a cultural
facility. The church building is under the protection of the
Historic Preservation Officer. The project is a response
to the vast potential of the local social activity centres.
The main premise was to retain the clarity of historic value
and preserve the current character of the building, which
is strongly embedded in the lush nature of the Masuria
region. The project proposes the introduction of spaces
which consider the new functionality of the building.
A multi-function room for organising exhibitions, concerts,
workshops and local events will be the main space of the
building. The newly-designed mezzanine level will be an
office and workshop space. The project also entails the
modernisation of the building, introducing new installations,
as well as adapting the facility to the needs of disabled
persons. Additionally, the project involves the construction
of a timber outhouse designed as storage space. The redevelopment
aims to preserve the historical memory and
cultural heritage of the Masuria region.
