Dom w Serocku jako nowa
forma zamieszkiwania
Zarojektowany obiekt jest przeznaczony na wynajem
dla ludzi pracujących zdalnie pragnących uciec z miasta
w malownicze strony Zalewu Zegrzyńskiego. Głównymi
osiami rozważań projektowych była relacja między życiem
zawodowym a prywatnym, integracja nieznajomych pod
jedynym dachem oraz relacja człowieka i budynku z naturą.
Odpowiedzią̨ na pierwszy aspekt stało się̨ przedstawienie
różnych upodobań́ względem miejsca pracy i próba ich
przełożenia na język architektury. Tak powstała świetlicaprzestrzeń́
oddzielona od ogniska domowego, znajdująca
się̨ w oddzielnym budynku; zakamarki w domu dla ludzi,
którzy lubią̨ niezdefiniowane miejsca pracy oraz prywatne
„gniazdka” będące samotniami dla ceniących̨ sobie pracę
we własnej strefie komfortu. Integrację osiągnięto dzięki
centralnej kompozycji domu, wokół której są̨ skupione
wszystkie części funkcjonalne. Próba zbliżenia człowieka
z naturą wyraża się poprzez możliwość́ „spacerowania” po
całym domu dzięki zewnętrznym obejściom i schodom
implikując dodatkowo zacieranie się granic pomiędzy
wnętrzem a zewnętrzem.
A House in Serock as a new form
of housing
The development has been designed as rented housing
for people working remotely who wish to escape from the
city to the picturesque vicinity of of the Zegrze Reservoir,
located just north of Warsaw. The main ideas behind the
design were the relationship between private and work
life, the mixing of strangers living under one roof, and the
bonds between people, buildings and nature. The response
to the first aspect of the project was to present various
preferences for the workplace and to attempt to translate
these into the language of architecture. This informed the
design of the common room – a space separated from the
heart of the house and located in a separate building, as well
as nooks inside the house for people who prefer undefined
workspaces, and private “nests”, which serve as secluded
areas for those who like to work in private comfort zones.
The mixing is made possible through the central composition
of the house, which is surrounded by the all the functional
spaces. An attempt to bring the house’s residents closer to
nature is expressed through the possibility to “take a walk” all
around the house through outdoor routes and stairs, which
additionally implies the blurring of boundaries between the
inside and outside.
