hiang Mai and its surrounding areas has much to

fees at only 1,650 Baht. The golf club is located behind Mae
Jo University, the oldest agricultural college in Chiang Mai.
This golf is only a 20 minute drive from Chiang Mai and is
very popular with golfers looking for a high quality fun course
that is not too far from their Chiang Mai hotel.

With thousands of fruit trees and orchids alongside its
fairways, the golf course looks as good as it plays. The kiosk
at the 14th hole has a stunning view as does the 15th tee.
Seni Thirawat, Mae Jo’s course designer, is a popular
local Thai golf course architect. The Mae Jo Golf Course
is well suited for golfers of all abilities. Narrow fairways with
Zoysia grass are perfect for low handicap players. Whilr
several water hazards and doglegs, as well as long par 5’s,
create a demanding game. The Korean Velvet greens are
mostly wide but often with a slope.
The club house in modern Lanna style offers a restaurant,
lodge and friendly service. Extensive practice facilities
including driving range, putting and chipping green, and
bunkers allow golfers to hit a few balls before their round.
This month’s promotion at Mae Jo Golf Club is definitely
great value for all golf lovers: enjoy green fees at 1.650 THB
during week days and 2,000 THB in the week ends (caddie
300 THB and golf car 750 THB).
