svih dosadašnjih rezultata istoriografije i temeljito istraživanje potpuno
neistraženih područja i vremenskih perioda u istoriji Jugoslavije.
Sažetak
Na kraju 20. stoljeća srpska (srbijanska) je historiografija prisiljena braniti
osnovna načela znanstvenosti. Uporaba povijesne znanosti u političke
svrhe dovela je u pitanje sveukupno znanje o povijesti Jugoslavije
i onemogućila sve ozbiljnije pokušaje da se iskustva 20. stoljeća
isponova definiraju i rekapituliraju. Stoga pred srpskom (srbijanskom)
historiografijom stoje sljedeći zadaci kao najviša obveza: 1. vraćanje
autonomne pozicije struci i njeno oslobađanje od utjecaja svakodnevne
politike te 2. preispitivanje svih dosadašnjih rezultata historiografije
i temeljito istraživanje potpuno neistraženih područja i vremenskih
razdoblja u povijesti Jugoslavije.
Summary
At the end of the 20th century, Serbian historiography was forced to
defend the elemental principles of scientificality. Using historical science
for political purposes has questioned the overall knowledge on
the history of Yugoslavia, and made any more serious attempts to redefine
and recapitulate experiences of the 20th century impossible.
This is why Serbian historiography faces the following tasks as the
highest obligation: 1) re-attaining an autonomous position of the
profession and its liberation from the influences of everyday politics;
2) questioning of all results of the historiography so far and thorough
research of the completely unexplored areas and periods of time in the
history of Yugoslavia.

gezwungen, elementare Grundsätze der Wissenschaftlichkeit verteidigen
