Deputy Chief of Party – <strong>Colombia</strong><br />
Checchi Consulting seeks a Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Access to Justice<br />
Activity in <strong>Colombia</strong>. The project promotes greater access to justice in <strong>Colombia</strong>, particularly n<br />
the consolidation zones, by strengthening services offered by justice houses; supporting<br />
institutions and organizations that help meet the justice needs of women; and assisting justice<br />
sector institutions with the implementation of reforms that improve the quality of services<br />
delivered.<br />
The Deputy Chief of Party will be based in Bogota and will assist with the implementation and<br />
management of all project activities. He/she will be responsible for providing a broad range of<br />
administrative support services and providing technical assistance in selected project areas. The<br />
Deputy Chief of Party will also assist with the preparation of all reports required by USAID; help<br />
coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities; supervise procurement activities; assist with<br />
grant and subcontract management; and ensure effective coordination between long-term field<br />
team members and short-term specialists.<br />
Candidates for this position must be fluent in Spanish and English, have at least five years of<br />
prior experience in Latin America, have strong administrative and management skills, and<br />
possess a proven capability in report writing/editing. Preferred candidates will have prior<br />
experience with USAID contract management and an in-depth understanding of USAID rules<br />
