Deputy Chief of Party – Colombia
Checchi Consulting seeks a Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Access to Justice
Activity in Colombia. The project promotes greater access to justice in Colombia, particularly n
the consolidation zones, by strengthening services offered by justice houses; supporting
institutions and organizations that help meet the justice needs of women; and assisting justice
sector institutions with the implementation of reforms that improve the quality of services
delivered.
The Deputy Chief of Party will be based in Bogota and will assist with the implementation and
management of all project activities. He/she will be responsible for providing a broad range of
administrative support services and providing technical assistance in selected project areas. The
Deputy Chief of Party will also assist with the preparation of all reports required by USAID; help
coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities; supervise procurement activities; assist with
grant and subcontract management; and ensure effective coordination between long-term field
team members and short-term specialists.
Candidates for this position must be fluent in Spanish and English, have at least five years of
prior experience in Latin America, have strong administrative and management skills, and
possess a proven capability in report writing/editing. Preferred candidates will have prior
experience with USAID contract management and an in-depth understanding of USAID rules
