Očitni trendi so spreminjanje družinskegaživljenja, rodnostne spremembe ter spremembe na trgu delovne sile oziroma množično zaposlovanježensk. Osrednji namen raziskave je ugotoviti, kako usklajevanje poklicnega in zasebnega življenjavpliva na izgorelost in absentizem pri vodjih, zaposlenih v bančnem sektorju. Statistična analizaraziskave, ki smo jo izvedli, je pokazala, da ne obstaja statistično značilna razlika pri usklajevanjupoklicno-zasebnega življenja med spoloma, da vpliv usklajevanja poklicno-družinskega življenja naizgorelost obstaja. Prav tako je zanemarljiv vpliv usklajevanja poklicno-družinskega življenja naabsentizem raziskovanega vzorca. Skozi znanstveno raziskovanje smo ugotovili, da morajoposamezniki ter njihovi delodajalci nenehno iskati dolgoročne rešitve za iskanje ravnovesja medzasebnostjo in delovnim časom, da se tako izognejo negativnim posledicam stresa, ki bi lahko nastalezaradi neusklajenosti poklicnega in zasebnega življenja.Ključne besede: absentizem, bančni sektor, družina in poklicno življenje, izgorelost, vodenjeCOORDINATION OF WORK AND PRIVAT LIFE AMONG LEADERS IN RELATION TOBURNOUT SYMPTOMS AND ABSENTEEISMAbstractCoordinating work and family life is a sociological and socio-political current issue, which is inWestern societies has become topical in the 50s and 60s of the last century with obvious trendschanging family life, fertility changes, and especially changes in the labour market and massemployment of women. The main aim of this research is to find out how coordinating of one’sprofessional and private life affects burnout and absenteeism of leaders in the bank sector. Statisticalanalysis of the conducted research has shown that there is no statistically significant difference incoordinating of professional and private life between the two genders and that the impact ofcoordinating their professional and family lives on the burnout effect does exist. The impact ofcoordinating their professional an family lives on absenteeism in the researched statistical sample isalso negligible. In this thesis we established through scientific research, that individuals and theiremployers must constantly search for long term solutions in the search for balance between privacyand working hours, so that they can avoid the negative consequences of stress that could emerge as aresult of an co-ordination between the professional and private life.Key words: absenteeism, bank sector, coordinating family and professional life, burnout, leadershipM&S 8(2013) 127
