Arhitektura je namreè znanost, pa tudivešèina kako nekaj narediti po nekih pravilih, "ars" oziroma"tehne". Predstavlja kompleksno celoto, katere cilj jemnogoplasten. Pojavlja se na razliènih nivojih, vse do nivojadrube in civilizacije.Arhitekturni prostor naj bi bil oblikovan v in po meriluèloveka. Kvalitetno stavbarstvo naj bi oznaèevala red inurejenost. Kadar arhitektura ni takšna, lahko slui le kot primerkakšna ne bi smela biti. "Lepoto" opredeljuje skladnostelementov, oblikovanje naj bi bilo usklajeno z namenom, pa tudiz vsebino arhitekturnega prostora. Namembnost se pri temnavezuje tudi na pravilno izbrano konstrukcijo, ki je kot taka esama zase estetska in predmet obèudovanja.summaryThe research confirms the sensibility of comparing thebroader artistic field with the art of spatial design, wherebyindirect confirmation is given to the artistic component of the cocreationof architectural space. Architecture is in fact a science,but also skill of creating something by certain rules "ars" and"tehne". It is a complex entity with a many-layered goal. Itappears at various levels, all the way to society and civilisation.Architectural space should be designed in and for the humanscale. Quality building should be marked by order andorderliness. When architecture isn't like that, it can only serve asan example of what it shouldn't be. "Beauty" is defined asharmony of elements, while design should be aligned to purpose,as well as content of the architectural space. Raziskovanje oblike - likovnoraziskovanje je nujni pogoj in pomemben èlen v snovanjukvalitetnega arhitekturnega prostora, saj omogoèa, da ustvarjalecpravilno oblikuje in uskladi celoto.intentions, goals and resultsArchitecture is simultaneously real and abstract. Theresearch proves that " artistic thought ", as an immaterial form ofthought, offers a wider starting position for definite design ofspace, since besides ensuring real products, it also guidestowards complex consideration. V splošnem jo opredeljuje niz soodvisnih,nasprotno predznaèenih elementov dvojic, ki jih skozi procesizoblikovanja arhitekturnega prostora poizkušamo uravnoteiti.Kvalitetna arhitektura temelji na ravnovesju, redu, harmoniji.Gradi jo vzajemni odnos med razumom in intuicijo, zamislijo inmaterialno obliko, formo in uporabnostjo, konstrukcijo inzamislijo o prostoru, umetnostjo in inenirstvom, pojmovnoobliko in tehniko oziroma tehnologijo, ekonomiènostjo in"lepoto"... In general it is defined by a series ofinterdependent, inversely marked pairs, which we try to balanceby the process of designing architectural space. Qualityarchitecture is based on balance, order, harmony. It grows fromthe mutual relation between intellect and intuition, idea andmaterial form, form and utility, structure and idea about space,art and engineering, abstract form and technique or technology,economics and "beauty"… A spatial designer, when challengedby utility, simultaneously undertakes (artistic) design.
