Podan je opis visokolo~ljivih satelitskih sistemov in teoreti~nih osnov digitalne fotogrametri~neobdelave. Prikazan je postopek – digitalne samodejne ortorektifikacije v programu OrthoBASE. Preu~eneso mo`nosti uporabe srednjelo~ljivih podob slab{e kakovosti, ki predstavljajo gorata podro~ja, za izdelavoortopodob in digitalnih modelov vi{in. Natan~nost ortopodob je ugotovljena s primerjavo z digitalnimi ortofoti.Dobljene ortopodobe so zelo dobre in ka`ejo na kvalitetno obdelavo. Vhodne podobe slabe kvalitetepa niso primerne za generiranje digitalnih modelov vi{in, katerih izdelava je mo~no odvisna od samodejnekorelacije.KLJU^NE BESEDEvisokolo~ljivi satelitski posnetki, satelitska fotogrametrija, ortorektifikacija, digitalni model vi{in, natan~nostABSTRACTOrthoimage generation from satellite imageryIn the paper, the generation of the orthoimages from a stereopair of panchromatic and multispectral SPOTsatellite imagery is presented. A description of the high-resolution satellite systems and the theoretical basesof the digital photogrammetric processing are given. The digital automatic orthorectification techniquesin OrthoBASE is shown. The possibilities of the application of the mid-resolution images of lower quality,covering mountainous regions, for the generation of orthoimages and digital elevation models are examined.The accuracy of the ortho data has been determined by comparing with the digital orthophotos. Theresulting images are very good and show good treatment.
