A membership may be suspended by the President(Bureau Manager) for any reason deemed sufficient for membershiprevocation, provided that action by the Board of Directors is taken withinthirty (30) days of said suspension. If the member elects to resign voluntarily,no action by the Board of Directors is necessary. If the Board of Directorsvotes to revoke any membership, the member shall be apprised of the right toappeal pursuant to Article VI below.ARTICLE VIAppeal from Denial of Admission or Revocation of MembershipUpon written notice to the Chairman of the Board of Directors from one whohas been denied admission or received notice of membership revocation, theChairman shall convene a hearing of the Board of Directors. 2 Any Directorshould abstain from voting on an application or revocation issue if he is apotential competitor of or has a possible conflict of interest with the person orbusiness involved. In any appeal proceeding, a majority of the voting membersshall determine the outcome, and their decision shall be final with no furtherright of appeal therefrom. (If a Bureau's bylaws specifically provide for aspecial committee to be appointed by the Chairman of the Board for purposesof reviewing and deciding such appeals, the bylaws may further provide forappeal to the full Board.)
