VSPFIREVehicle Specific PunchFirebird / Camaro ’93+VEHICLE PREPARATION6. The VSP enclosure will be located in the left rear fender-well of the vehicle. Besure to remove any obstructions for proper installation.InstallationReferenceSheet7. Carefully remove the left trim panel from the vehicle. There are 3 pop-rivets and2 clips that hold the panel in place. (See photo.)VSP ENCLOSURE INSTALLATION8. Test fit the enclosure in the left fender well and run the speaker wire from theamplifier to the desired location.9. Connect the proper (+) and (–) speaker terminals from the amplifier to theenclosure. Install the enclosure in the side fender well and position the speakergrille over the woofer.NOTE: The speaker grille has been slightly oversized to ensure a tight fit into thefender well.10. Replace the left trim panel over the VSP enclosure and secure it to the vehicle.Be sure to properly align the 3 pop-rivets and 2 clips with the holes in the sheetmetal.11. If necessary, fine tune the system to find the proper bass level for your new VSPwoofer enclosure.–3–
