ČASTNI ČLAN ZAPS / Honorary Member of zapsAndrej HrauskyArhitekt Andrej Hrausky je eden od najboljših poznavalcev in kritikovsodobne slovenske in mednarodne arhitekture ter arhitekturne zgodovine.Že od leta 1976, ko je diplomiral na arhitekturni fakulteti v Ljubljani,je nepogrešljiv ustvarjalec, kritik, zgodovinar, promotor in organizator.Deluje na številnih področjih slovenske in mednarodne arhitekturnekulture, kot arhitekturni kritik, urednik, razstavni kustos, publicist,predavatelj in tudi dolgoletni direktor arhitekturne galerije DESSA terprojektantske organizacije Arhe. Napisal je zelo veliko člankov v domačihin tujih arhitekturnih revijah. Seznam knjig, pri katerih je avtor alisoavtor, obsega med drugimi tri vodiče po arhitekturi Jožeta Plečnika,Vodič po arhitekturi Ljubljane, kataloge ob razstavah Gradbišče Slovenija,Sixpack in številne druge.Je član uredništev in stalni dopisnik domačih in mednarodnih arhitekturnihrevij: ab – arhitektov bilten (od 1975), GAM, Architektur Aktuell,Domus, Architectural Design, Arch (Bratislava) in drugih. Organiziral jeveč kot 150 razstav v Ljubljani, Sloveniji in v tujini. Leta 2004 je bil kuratorslovenskega prispevka na beneškem arhitekturnem bienalu.Slovensko arhitekturo je predstavljal na neštetih predavanjih, simpozijihin konferencah doma in v tujini. Kot član domačih in mednarodnihkomisij je sodeloval pri številnih domačih in mednarodnih natečajih, podelitvahnagrad, med drugim je bil tudi večkrat član komisije za nagradomies van de Rohe – najpomembnejšo evropsko nagrado za arhitekturo.Pred kratkim smo praznovali 20 let delovanja galerije DESSA, ki je bilado ustanovitve HA (razstavišča Hiša arhitekture) pri ZAPS edina specializiranaarhitekturna galerija pri nas. V vsem tem času je galerija DESSAspremljala in pomembno soustvarjala slovensko arhitekturno kulturo.Predstavljala je svetovne dosežke v arhitekturi z izbranimi razstavamiin predavanji. He has been activelyinvolved in many different fields of Slovenian and international architectureculture, as an architectural critic, editor, exhibition curator, publicist, lecturer,and for many years also director of the DESSA architecture gallery, and theArhe architectural design organization. He has written countless articles forSlovenian and international architecture magazines. The body of work he hasauthored or written in cooperation with colleagues includes three architecturalguidebooks on Jože Plečnik’s architecture, the Architectural Guide to Ljubljana,catalogues for the exhibitions Gradbišče Slovenia (Construction Site Slovenia),Sixpack and many others.He is an editorial board member and regular correspondent for Slovenian andinternational architecture magazines: ab – arhitektov bilten (since 1975), GAM,Architektur Aktuell, Domus, Architectural Design, Arch (Bratislava) and others.He has organized over 150 exhibitions in Ljubljana, around Slovenia andabroad, and was Slovenian Commissioner at the Venice Architecture Biennalein 2004.Andrej Hrausky has represented Slovenian architecture in countless lectures atsymposiums and conferences in Slovenia and abroad. As a member of Slovenianand international committees he has participated in numerous national andinternational tenders, award ceremonies, and has served on the committeefor the Mies van der Rohe Award – the most important European architectureaward – several times.Not long ago we celebrated 20 years of the DESSA gallery, the only gallerydedicated to architecture in Slovenia before ZAPS founded HA (House ofArchitecture).
