Please remember that the Christian is called upon to face life with extremepatience - Heb. 12:1b “ let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”a. The word patience here means, endurance or perseveranceb. Bear the troubles and toils of living the Christian life with patience6. This is a person who is not swerved from his deliberate purpose and his loyalty tofaith and piety by even the greatest trials and sufferings.C. The Faithfulness of a Christian soldier can be seen in His Priorities v. 41. Entangle = from a word that means to twine or braid, plait2. Same word used in 2 Peter 2:20 “For if after they have escaped the pollutions ofthe world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they areagain entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them thanthe beginning.”3. We must not get so involved in the affairs of this life that we crowd out Jesus,his church and worship.
