Type of farming (agricultural production)"The type of farming (agricultural production) of a holding” is the production system of aholding which is characterised by the relative contribution of different enterprises to theholding's total SO. Applying this methodological rule changes recent perception on structureof agricultural holdings, i.e. position that the agriculture of holdings in Montenegro arecharacterised by mixed farming (agricultural production).The share of Standard Output (SO) of individual agricultural activities in the total SO value onan agricultural holding indicates that Montenegro has 47.56% of agricultural holdingsclassified as specialist holdings grazing livestock, and then there are 25.33% of specialholdings field crops, which includes Montenegro in group of countries with high share ofspecialist holdings.Table 2.1.
