UDC: 338.3:582.661.15:658.2Meši M, Malinović N, Anđelković S, Kostić M.Sugar beet production by conservation tillage of soilCont. Agrg. Engng, 35(2009)1-2, 95-102, 1 tab, 8 fig, 15 ref.Analyzed in this paper are the results of investigation into various methods of tillage, fromthe aspect of environment protection, energy consumption and cost effectiveness. Effects onbiological activity of conventional and conservation tillage, as well as the no-tillage sowing, are considered. Effects of biological activity on application of plough sets is emphasized fromthe viewpoint of soil treading and compaction. In addition, the authors consider the impact ofthe type of tillage on sugar beet yield. Reviewed are the results of a macro test whichdetermined effects of various tillage methods in sugar beet production, primarily on yield andfuel consumption. The test results indicate significant differences (12 %) in sugar beet yield,in favour of conservation tillage.UDC: 658.2:631.559:633.15Malinović N, Meši M, Kostić M, Rajšli E.Comparative results of mechanized and manual seed corn detaseelingCont. Agrg. Engng, 35(2009)1-2, 103-110, 4 tab, 1 fig, 8 ref.Presented in this paper is experimental investigation of efficiency of various detasselingmethods in seed corn production. Investigation was conducted under conditions which werecharacteristic of Vojvodina during production year 2008. The tests were performed on threedifferent hybrids, while the subject of comparison were the results of manual detasseling andmechanized detasseling with manual corrections. Subject to analysis were productionconditions, effects of detasseling by various methods, productivity and seed corn grain yield.UDC: 631.372:17.023.35:332.053:621.3.016Dedović N, Matić Kekić Snežana, Simikić M, Nikolić R, Savin L.Tractive efficiency coefficient calculations of a wheeled tractorCont. Agrg. Engng, 35(2009)1-2, 111-117, 3 tab, 2 fig, 18 ref.The analysis of tractive efficiency coefficient dependence on wheeled tractor speed andslippage was given in this paper. There were examined one soil type (stubble) and central pull.It were also given mathematical models of examined dependence and algorithm which gave atractive efficiency coefficient dependence of wheeled tractor speed and slippage.155
