Engng, 35(2009)1-2, 1-8, 3 fig, 16 ref.Water pollution is usualy caused by manure leaching, minerals rinse in deep soil layers orby direct manure ejection in water body. Unused from growed plants, manure nutrients couldrun off in the surface or soil water. Nitrogen and phosphorous are basic nutrients ofagricultural importance, with the largest pollution potential of mentioned water sources.Reduction of nitrogen and phosphorus compounds includes application of wide range ofconventional and developing filter systems.UDC: 631.333Turan J, Findura P.Mineral fertilizer distribution overlapCont. Agrg. Engng, 35(2009)1-2 , 9-15, 1 tab, 10 fig, 12 ref.By this scientific work a part of testing for side distribution of mineral fertilizer arecovered. Tests are being conducted periodicaly by the Department for Agricultural Machineryof Novi Sad in cooperation with the Agricultral University in Nitra, Slovak. The results ofmineral fertilizer side distribution were analyzed involving fertilizer spreaders with doubledisc, with theoretical outputs of 200, 250 and 300 kg/ha. The accent is pointed to overlap andmatcing the fertilizer amount spread on the area unit. The results are shown in 4 photographs,3 schemes, 4 charts and one table.Sedlar A, Đukić N, Bugarin R.UDC: 631.34:634.8.047:712.27:581.5Environmentally acceptable machines for pesticides application in orchards andvineyardsCont. Agrg. Engng, 35(2009)1- 2, 16-25, 9 fig, 20 ref.Environmentally acceptable spray techniquues have been developed to use minimalpesticide inputs and apply them effective only where needed with reduced losses because ofdrift. There is a lot of different ways to achieve environmentally acceptable pesticidesapplication in orchards and vineyards: use of modern nozzles, work with improve air-assistedsprayers, work with tunnel air-assisted sprayers and selective application.151

Agrg. Engng, 35(2009)1- 2, 26-32, 4 tab, 2 fig, 12 ref. This paper shows the results of analysis of soil compaction influence on sunflower yield onheadland and inner part of a field, and chemical changes in soil. Soil compaction aftersprouting was 67.70% greater on headland than in the inner part, while before harvesting, there was an increase of 13.44% in soil compaction. The total number of microorganisms islarger in the inner part of the field, while the number of actinomycetes is larger on headland. There are no significant differences in numbers of nitric bacteria and fungus.UDC: 631.319: 631.434: 635.13Ponjičan O, Bajkin A, Somer D.The influence of presowing preparation on agro-physical properties of carrot rootsCont. Agrg. Engng, 35(2009)1- 2, 33-41, 3 tab, 2 fig, 20 ref.In the contemporary production of root vegetables the main part of presowing preparationis forming of beds or mini-beds. The quality of presowing preparation was evaluated byphysical and mechanical properties of soil, (structure coefficient, volumetric bulk density andpenetrometric resistance of soil), on a flat soil surface, after the mini-beds were formed, and atvarious depths. Samples were taken according to standard ISO 10381-6. Evaluation ofphysical and mechanical properties of soil showed a 5% significant statistical difference in the10–25 cm layer.Dedović N, Igić S, Janić T.UDC: 620.92:621.772.4:620.952:519.87Energetic efficiency of boiler for combusation biomas by recirculation of combustionproducts and mathematical modelsCont. Agrg. Engng, 35(2009)1-2 , 42-51, 5 tab, 8 fig, 25 ref.The paper reviews test results for a biomass-fired hot water boiler, located at “Mitrosrem”agricultural company from Sremska Mitrovica, work unit Kuzmin. Nominal boiler power is120 KW. The impact of the quantity of inlet air fed to the boiler firebox was continuouslymonitored. Parameters measured during burning are listed in the paper. Mean boiler thermalpower rate ranges between 75,66 to 112,94 kW. Boiler efficiency rate ranges between 27,66to 71,97%. In the case of combustion products recirculation, then the boiler thermal powerrate ranges between 69,33 to 111,21 kW and boiler efficiency rate ranges between 29,29 to65,14%.152
