In terms of improving the socioeconomic conditionsin rural areas, it has the following disadvantages:‣ Projects expenditure refund (the owners do not have enoughfunds),‣ Complex projects, a large administrative burden (inprevious times there were special projects for helpingowners with demanding administrative procedures),‣ Nonexistent linkage to employment does not create synergyof activities in the social environment of the regions(municipalities, landowners, tenants of land and businessesemployed on the land ...)3. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONAfforestation program for agriculturally nonutilisable nonforestland was part of the government attenuation program inagriculture, but also the program that should contribute to restorationof ecological stability of the Slovak countryside. Increasing theacreage of forest land contributes to the long-term improvements inforest resources, prevents the greenhouse effect and encourages theabsorption of carbon dioxide and eliminates the effects of climatechange. As stated in [2] Jarábková, J and [3] Fáziková, M, untilrecently, when there was work-related migration of rural populationoutside rural areas, the question of care for the countryside arises. Inthe protection of landscape and nature as well, necessary work needsto be carried out, but also in care for the further development oftourism. In Slovakia, tourism is currently very important to thewhole economy of Slovakia.
