ECOREMEDIATION PLAN METHODOLOGYDEVELOPMENT FORPOLLUTED WATER RESOURCESTijana Čoporda Mastilović, Gordana Dražić, AnaĐorđević,Fakultet za primenjenu ekologiju Futura, UniverzitetSingidunumAbstract: Ecoremediation in modern science means a new look atthe "repair" of polluted environment, which by its treatmentecosystem process tries to approach the natural process ofregeneration. This natural process is applied to all threeenvironmental media, and the choice of ecoremediation plandepends on the observed field problems. This paper will display aselection of appropriate methodologies of ecosystem process in thecase of surface water pollution and ground water in hydrogeologicalterrain complex conditions. In this case, purification of pollutedwater resources means the construction of such ecosystems whichwould use phytoremediation and bioremediation to intensify theprocess of surface and ground water self-purification. The basicprinciple in identifying and overcoming these problems is an integralapproach to understanding the natural conditions of the currentsituation, specially referring to the communication between surfaceand ground water, pollutants migration and their biogeochemicalprocesses. An example on which the whole problem will be presentedis related to the municipality of Kikinda, where the degradation ofqualitative characteristics of surface and ground water resources, has accrued due to many years of irrational industrial activities.Key words: ecoremediation/ biogeochemical process/ waterresource/ ERM plan~ 326 ~
