Zone Tezno itself wants to be eco-friendly, so the managersexpressed a desire to revitalize the area with ecoremediations. Weanticipate that the major environmental problems of the area are:pollution of soil and negative water balance, mainly because ZoneTezno is located in near the groundwater that fed Vrbanjski plateau,from where it draws drinking water for the municipality of Mariborand beyond. Also on the region there are problems with noise anddust particles.Problem itself can be solved with help of ecoremediation, which iswhy we propose the following types of ecoremediation methods [7]:• Phytoremediations are natural systems, which with helpof certain plant species clean soil. From soil areremoved: pesticides, fertilizers, heavy metals, solvents,oils, explosives. The method is cheap and effective.Product of phytoremediations is biomass, which can beused for various purposes.• Constructed wetlands for waste water from pavedsurfaces.• Plant rain gardens installed in low-lying by-houses,commercial areas, in the middle of parking spacesusing gravel and plants, where the process of filteringthrough them is going on. Rainfall is diverted fromgutters, roofs, and parking drive-ins into garden and somuch purified water then sinks into the groundwater.Soil absorbs filtered rain so with that can be then drawtrees, grass. That helps reduce pollution of storm sewer.• Vegetation barriers are the physical barrier to wind,noise, dust, smell and other aerosol compounds.~ 321 ~
