4. ECOREMEDIATIONS IN ZONE TEZNOZone Tezno is a complete business, logistics and industrial areain the southeastern part of Maribor and the largest of its kind inSlovenia. Full Zone covers an area of 108 hectares, of which 60 percent are built-up areas and the remaining 40 per cent is still waitingfor the sealing [13].Figure 1: Zone Tezno (http://www.conatezno.si)Base of the Zone Tezno is the automotive industry, as in thisarea one of largest automobile industries in the former Yugoslavia –Car Factory Maribor (TAM) operated, which had its beginnings in afactory of aircraft parts for the German military aircraft. Today ZoneTezno is designed as industrial and business city of open type, inwhich numerous industrial and service activities are located.
