times higher than from other soil nitrogen. In addition to that, it wasfound that a decisive part of nitrogen in the soil, being available forplants, comes from mineralization of microbial biomass. In general, the content of microbial biomass in the soil was high onall sites. Regarding applied preparations the level of MB_C in thesoil was influenced significantly by bacterial preparations.Determination of the content of extracellular carbon (EX_C) is also apart of determination of microbial biomass by dehydration method. Itis an easily decomposable form of organic C. Obtained results EX_Cmay be interpreted in the same way like the ratio G: B as betweenboth indicators we found very close correlation (r = 0.81 ++ )2.3. Effect of soil conditioner (in combination with hydrogel)on growth parameters of artificial beech plantationsBoth ecological-microbiological conditioners affectedpositively survival rate (beech 100%) (applying STOCKOSORB ®Powder + Micro gel + BactoFil ® B-liquid), but differences in growthparameters were not statistically significant after one year (fig. 1). Inthe variant with hydrogel STOCKOSORB Powder+BactoFil ® B(granules) losses reached almost 8%, whereas control variant had inthe 1 st year 17% loss and after the 2 nd year already 20% loss (fig. 1).Effect of BactoFil B (STOCKOSORB ® Micro gel + BactoFil ®B-liquid) reflected positively in height increments, total height anddiameter of root collar after the 2 nd and 3 rd year (statisticallysignificant differences) (fig. 1).More significant differences between treated variants andcontrol variant were recorded for the development of the root systemof beech (TUČEKOVÁ ET AL. 2006). After applying microbiologicalpreparation BactoFil ® B, whose microorganisms do not only fixaerial and soil nitrogen in the area of root system, but throughbiological mobilization of phosphorus and potassium they alsomineralise and form better nutrients supplies and soil structure aswell. In combination with hydrogels that bind water in the root area, they create favourable conditions for the development of roots forsubsequent survival and whole adaptation process of plantations.Positive results of the combination of both products appear alreadyone year after application, mainly in the rich development of fineroot hair of beech. In following vegetation period positive effect of~ 269 ~
