BactoFil A, BactoFil B, Teralyt Plus was applied to the soil on thewhole area with disturbed soil surface to the depth of about 5-10 cm.In open stand raspberry shrubs and fern were growing, and closedpart of the stand that was not weeded had a deep layer ofdecomposed humus litter (about 5-7 cm) and uneven sporadic naturalregeneration of spruce and beech trees. Before and after applying thementioned three conditioners surface soil layers were taken in thedepth 0-5 cm and 10-25 cm (or 5-10 cm) for analyses. Agrochemicaland microbiological analyses of samples were carried out andevaluated at the Research Institute of Grasslands and MountainousAgriculture in Banská Bystrica (methodology by Ondrášek et al.2005).2. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION2.1 Agrochemical analysis of soil samples after applying soilconditionersSoils in Kysuce region, affected by air pollutants, werecharacterized prior to applying ecological-microbiologicalpreparations by considerable acidity and imbalance of nutrients. Onthree experimental plots the soil was very acidic and in the layerwithin 5 cm it had very unfavourable supplies of nutrients (N, P, K,Ng and Ca). Up to the depth 20 cm there was lack of N, P and C, butmainly of Mg. This area is particularly the one where root system ofplants is located. Adding BactoFil ® B during planting (to the hole –hole planting) affected biological activity of the soil in the area ofroot (TUČEKOVÁ ET AL. 2005, 2006).After applying soil microbiological conditioners the greatestcapability of soil mineralization of nitrogen (TMN) and nitrification(NIT) was characteristic for variant with BactoFil ® B. Finding ofrelatively high values of NIT for treated variants is surprising, because in the soil with very low pH values such process should notoccur at all. It follows from the comparison of the results of theassessed variants and control that in the variant BactoFil ® B valuesof pH, Nt, Ng and K increased. Microbiological analyses showed anincrease of CO 2 production by 18% in the variant BactoFil ® B whencompared with control variant.~ 264 ~
