their chemical compounds improve soil structure and subsequentlyincrease resistance against drought. At the same time they synthesizephytohormones, kinetins, auxins and gibberellins that supportgermination, growth and resistance against pathogens. Naturalmicroorganisms, as it is well-known, supply plants with the mostimportant nutrients. Microorganisms “Bacillus“ and “Pseudomonas“,which are contained in bioproducts of the soil conditioners BactoFil,transfer phosphorus in the soil to plants. We have been testing thismicrobiological soil conditioner in Slovakia for already severalyears. To balance pH value under the conditions of acidic airpollutants in Kysuce region we tested another, not verified yet inSlovakia, soil conditioner Teralyt Plus ® (product used in agricultureand produced in Germany). The soil conditioner not only adjusts pHvalue, soil physical and chemical activity but it affects positively treespecies vitality as well. It is generally known, that in acidic soils theamount of bacteria is dropping and fungi start to prevail. Armillariasp. (honey fungus) and Heterobasidion annosum belong to the mostsignificant parasitic wood-decaying fungi that attack forest treespecies in Slovakia forests. A primary reason of spruce infection byparasitic wood-decaying fungi is usually physiological weakening ofhost tree species caused most frequently by lack of water or highseasonal fluctuations in water supply (ČERNÝ 1989).Other factors of the environment, which contribute to theinfection intensity of the stands, are imbalanced content of nutrients, high content of Ca and high pH value of soils. For exampleArmillaria ostoyae causes on spruce highest damage in regionswhere this tree species is not autochthonous (ČERNÝ 1989). That isalso the case of Kysuce region. Infection may occur in variousdevelopment stages, starting from planting stock in nursery andending with adult trees (ČERNÝ 1989, JANČAŘÍK, JANKOVSKÝ 1999).Because of the imbalance of nutrients in standing stands, whichoccurs also at clearings after bark beetle calamity, an additionalfertilization and reclamation of artificial stands with modification ofsoil environment (TUČEKOVÁ ET AL. 2006) is justified in Kysuceregion. The aim of research was, in the process of regeneration andreconstruction after disintegration of spruce monocultures in Kysuceregion, to verify in the framework of “green technologies” effect and~ 261 ~
