<strong>Olimpijski</strong>h igara u Rio de Janeiru 2016. godine.<br />

- Naša suradnja treba rezultirati time da športskoj javnosti<br />

u zemlji i inozemstvu budu dostupni ne samo športski rezultati,<br />

nego i što više informacija o aktivnostima Hrvatskog i<br />

Međunarodnog <strong>olimp</strong>ijskog odbora - naglasila je ravnateljica<br />

Hine, dok je predsjednik HOO-a Zlatko Mateša istaknuo kako<br />

se Hina pokazala izvanrednim partnerom u praćenju brojnih<br />

projekata HOO-a.<br />

- Tu ne mislim samo na izvanrednu suradnju na praćenju<br />

<strong>Olimpijski</strong>h igara u Londonu, nego i <strong>Olimpijski</strong>h igara mladih,<br />

Mediteranskih igara, Festivala mladeži te praćenja svih drugih<br />

aktivnosti HOO-a u zemlji i inozemstvu - kazao je Mateša.<br />

Svečanom potpisivanju ugovora nazočili su urednik športske<br />

redakcije Hine Ante Drpić, voditeljica odjela za informiranje<br />

i izdavaštvo HOO-a Radica Jurkin te predstavnica HOO-a<br />

za odnose s javnošću Manuela Sentđerđi.<br />

Aspira’s first generation of professional graduate program of<br />

sports management<br />

After the successful presentation of its new program in Zadar, Dubrovnik,<br />

Zagreb, Rijeka and Split, the University college for sports management<br />

Aspira (www.aspira.hr) headquartered in Split, enrolled in March 2013 the<br />

first generation of one and only professional graduate program of sports<br />

management in Croatia.<br />

Graduates of this course acquire, according to the Bologna process 120<br />

ECTS credits and the title of of professional sports management specialist<br />

(official title: Ec.S.). This is an area that deals with sports marketing, facility<br />

management, organization and management of sports events, supervision and<br />

financial management, sponsorship in sports, public relations, sports law, etc.<br />

Otherwise, according to the agreement with COC in 2010, Aspira provides<br />

specific benefits to the categorized athletes and sports officials from all over the<br />

Croatia, and one of them is a discount on school fee. Many famous persons,<br />

such as the athlete Blanka Vlasic, skier Sofija Novoselic, taekwondoists Ana<br />

and Lucija Zaninovic, yachtswoman Tina Mihelic, athlete Ivana Brkljacic,<br />

gymnast Mario Moznik, rower Martin Sinkovic, table tennis player Sandra<br />

Paovic, basketball player Nikola Vujcic, manager of the national football<br />

team Igor Stimac and many more, attend the study of sports management at<br />

Aspira.<br />

With the permission of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports<br />

and recognized public right, Aspira is the first institution in Croatia<br />

primarily focused on education of athletes, with the goal of international<br />

competitiveness, encouraging the mobility of students, application of high<br />

technological achievements in education, starting the studies in English<br />

language, developing multicultural environment and a number of other goals,<br />

all in favor of symbiosis of sports and economy.<br />

Special recognition given to the service Sports Croatia<br />

On February 18 th , the Croatian Sports Journalists Association (www.hzsn.hr)<br />

organized at the Novinarski dom (Journalist home) in Zagreb the selection of<br />

the best sports journalists, reporters, publicists, and other titles in media and<br />

communications in 2012.<br />

Srdan Fabijanac, longtime chronicler of Split and Croatian sports from<br />

<strong>Hrvatski</strong> radio, was proclaimed the best sports journalist, while the<br />

recognition for broadcast journalism went to the young journalist from the<br />

Sports Television, host of the TV show "Paralympic", Iva Milanovic-Litre.<br />

Award for local journalism was presented to the journalist from Radio<br />

Dalmacija Marin Mrduljas. Blaz Duplancic, author of the comprehensive<br />

book about football - "1950 – the year of Torcida and Hajduk" – was awarded<br />

for authorship in publishing.<br />

Award for the best-organized press service went to Igor Jagic, PR of the<br />

basketball club Cedevita. The best water polo coach in the world Ratko Rudic,<br />

also the Manager of the golden water polo team at London Olympics, received<br />

HZNS’s special award for cooperation with the media.<br />

HZSN’s special recognition went to the co-authors of the COC news service<br />

project Sports Croatia (www.hoo.hr), Radica Jurkin and Zeljko Erceg.<br />

In the presence of many notable persons of Croatian sports, politics and<br />

journalism, HZSN awards and recognitions were presented to the winners by<br />

the Minister and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Science, Education and<br />

Sports Zeljko Jovanovic and Peter Skansi, President and Secretary General<br />

of the Croatian Olympic Committee Zlatko Matesa and Josip Cop, President<br />

of the Croatian Journalists' Association Zdenko Duka and President of the<br />

Croatian Association of Sports Journalists Jura Ozmec.<br />

Before the awarding ceremony, the session of the HZSN Parliament took place,<br />

with Jura Ozmec as its chairman. The session emphasized serious problems<br />

that bother the sports journalism; from dismissals, reducing labor rights up to<br />

recovery of outstanding debts.<br />
