Accuracy comparison of the observations is determined by the coordinate difference K and its standard
deviation composed of standard errors of adjusted hourly and daily observations. Comparison equation
K
also includes factor which defines the maximal expected and still tolerable error value. Coordinate
difference between daily and hourly observations is defined as:
or as a function:
Considering the law of propagation of variances and co variances the variance
K is:
Accuracy assessment of coordinates between hourly and daily observations is defined as:
Accuracy comparison between hourly and daily observations is made with coordinate difference comparison
and accuracy assessment of coordinates multiplied by factor which defines the maximal error. Comparison
of accuracy was made with the help of equation:
The results of accuracy comparison
(30)
The results of accuracy comparison between hourly and daily GNSS observations are for each individual
point interpreted graphically. In the following graphs the results of accuracy comparison are shown for each
of the four values that were used for factor. Graphs also show the values of factor accordingly to the
classical theory of errors base on Gaussian distribution. Graphs also show the results of made comparisons
for each value of factor. Made graphs for each of the observed points also enable the assessment of
equation (30) which was used for the comparison.
