THEOLOGOS 1/2012 | ŠTÚDIE La Festa del Cristo Re nella Chiesa greco-cattolica ungherese Ivancsó István Szent Atanáz Görög Katolikus Hittudományi Főiskola, Nyíregyháza Abstract: In the liturgical life of the Hungarian Greek Catholic Church appeared the feast of the Christ the King, in the 20th century. The Apostolic Exarchate of Miskolc published his liturgical texts. The feast also was celebrated. The texts got into Eparchy of Hajdúdorog, but the feast was not celebrated here. Although the feast and the celebration itself foreign to the Byzantine Church, the Christ’s kingdom is not strange, because - as our study presents it – there is present in the liturgical texts in numberless case. The study is not intended to give encouragement into a liturgical restoration. Rather, it wants to show, on the one hand, that the Hungarian Greek Catholic Church’s liturgical history how multicolored. On the other hand, wants to show, that the developmental line of our liturgical tradition is not simply black or white. Key words: Hungarian Greek Catholic Church. Feast. Celebration. Liturgical History. Liturgical Tradition.

Abstract: In the liturgical life of the Hungarian Greek Catholic
Church appeared the feast of the Christ the King, in the 20th century. The
Apostolic Exarchate of Miskolc published his liturgical texts. The feast also
was celebrated. The texts got into Eparchy of Hajdúdorog, but the feast was
not celebrated here. Although the feast and the celebration itself foreign to
the Byzantine Church, the Christ’s kingdom is not strange, because - as
our study presents it – there is present in the liturgical texts in numberless
case. The study is not intended to give encouragement into a liturgical
restoration. Rather, it wants to show, on the one hand, that the Hungarian
Greek Catholic Church’s liturgical history how multicolored. On the other
hand, wants to show, that the developmental line of our liturgical tradition
is not simply black or white.
Key words: Hungarian Greek Catholic Church. Feast. Celebration.
Liturgical History. Liturgical Tradition.
Introduzione
