The first documented ecclesiastical act was connected to a funeral,
and before 18 December 1760, the date of the first christening, we have
no documentation of any sacramental services.
Only four years earlier on 4 February 1756 the first orthodox priest
permanently posted at Miskolc appeared for the first time in the records.
A quick glance over the list of names immediately allows us to note that
the first phase in the development of the religious community lasted until
1756; furthermore we also have to consider whether or not there was any
