Zbornik Mednarodnega literarnega srečanja Vilenica 2004 - Ljudmila

Rojena leta 1961. Pesnica, esejistka, literana kritičarka in prevajalka. Preden
se je v celoti posvetila literaturi, se je preživljala s poučevanjem klavirja.
Do sedaj je izdala pet zbirk poezije: V brezštevno, 1994, Modra Anglija,
1996, Partnerja v mraku, 1997, Podobno človeškemu bitju, 2000
(nagrajena z nagrado Plesoči medved, ki jo podeljuje Finnish Broadcasting
Company) in Ode za uho, 2003. Septembra 2004 bo izšel tudi njen
prvi roman Hiša pesnika. Kot esejistka in literarna kritičarka je sodelovala
pri številnih uglednih časopisih in literarnih revijah na Finskem in v tujini.
Objavila je tudi prevode Yvesa Bonnefoya, Maurica Blanchota in Elizabeth
Bishop.
Born in 1961. Poet, essayist, reviewer, and translator. She worked as a
piano-teacher before devoting her life to the literature. So far she has given
out five collections of poetry, Lukemattomiin (Into the Unnumerable,
1994), Sininen Anglia (The Blue Anglia, 1996), Pimeän parit (Partners of
the Dark, 1997), Ihmisen kaltainen (Like a Human Being, 2000), which
was awarded by the Dancing Bear Prize of Finnish Broadcasting Company,
and Oodeja korvalle (Odes for the Ear, 2003). In September 2004
her first novel Runoilijan talossa (In the Poet’s House) will come out. As
an essayist and reviewer she has contributed to many different newspapers
and literary magazines in Finland and abroad. She has published translations
of Yves Bonnefoy, Maurice Blanchot, and Elizabeth Bishop.
