Program poslijediplomskog doktorskog studija IZTOK POTRČ Naziv ustanove zaposlenja Sveučilište u Mariboru, Strojarski fakultet E-mail adresa i adresa osobne web stranice iztok.potrc@uni-mb.si Životopis, popis radova objavljenih u posljednjih pet godina uz navođenje kvalificirajućih radova za izvođenje nastave Životopis: Iztok Potrč rođen je 15. prosinca 1952. u Celju, Republika Slovenija. Osnovnu i srednju školu završio je Mariboru. 1978. diplomirao je na Strojarskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Mariboru. Od 1981. radio je kao asistent na Strojarskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Mariboru, za področje transportnih naprava i mehanike. Na istom je fakultetu 1988. izabran u docenta, a 1993. u izvanrednog profesora iz područja transportnih naprav i termoplastičnosti. Od 2003. održava nastavu iz kolegija Vuča i transportna sredstva na Građevinskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Mariboru i kolegija Energetski i transportni strojevi na Poljoprivrednom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Mariboru. Bio je mentor i komentor na 4 doktorske disertacije i 7 magistarskih radova. 1981. i 1982. godine sudjelovao je kao i znanstveni istraživač u radu Intituta Jožef Stefan u Ljubljani. Nositelj je više projekata financiranih od Ministarstva znanosti i tehnologije Republike Slovenije. Tijekom poslijediplomskog studija obrazova se u Argonne Nat.Lab., IAEA- kurs: Assuring press. Boundary on NPP, Sept. & Oct. 1982; CISM Udine: Plasticity today-ljetna škola, June/July 1983. Od 1983. do 1985. pohađao je poslijediplomski studij: BEM za nelinearne probleme u konstrukcijamana, na LTM-Uni Erlangen/Nuerenberg ZRN, gdje je 1987. obranio doktorsku disertaciju naslova Zur Behandlung temperaturab-hänginger Probleme mittels Randelemente methode. Bio je voditelj Katedre za konstruiranje i gradnju strojeva na Strojarskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Mariboru, a sada je voditelj Laboratorija za transportne naprave, sisteme i logistiku.
