DRUGA NASLOVNA

Several new projects have been endorsed, international projects as well as reserach projects on
county level. Several agreements with the partners from the economy sector have been signed,
the result of which is amonog other things, positioning of the Faculty at university top position
regarding the number of projects and the impact of research, science and professional activities.
When analysing these activities in the University of Osijek, approximately one third of the above
mentioned activities belongs to our Faculty. I am sure that it will be the same in the next academic
year.
I would like to thank all the employees for their efforts in all fields of activities. In the past year
I expressed my hope that we would be on the new pemises. Unfortunately, hope did not come
true, due to several valid circumstances. I do hope that we will await it , as the most beautiful gift
by the community for the Faculty’s fifty years of existence and the advancement of agriculture in
Croatia, especially in its eastern part. It will be a new driving force for even stronger development
of the Faculty and regaining of the importance and reputation to our profession, which it surely
deserves, due to its mision and vision in the community.
On behalf of the Faculty management and on my own, I congratulate all employees and
exemloyees on the achievements. I wish the Faculty in which we serve and earn our daily bread
much success in its future development.
