9.2. Teaching activities<br />

In the academic year 2009/2010 all teaching activities have been carried out in line with the Bologna process;<br />

the students enrolled in 2005/2006 study according to the model 3+2+3 (3 year undergraduate study + 2 year<br />

graduate study + 3 year doctoral study).<br />

At undergraduate study level the following study programmes could be enrolled in: Agroeconomics, Plant<br />

Production, Mechanization, Horticulture and Zootechnique, for awading the title BA in Agriculture in<br />

specific field.<br />

In the academic year 2009/2010 the second generation of «Bologna» students enrolled in graduate study<br />

programmes (MAIngAgr). The following graduate study programmes can be also enrolled in: Agroeconomics,<br />

Plant Production, Plant Production - Plant Nutrition and Soil Science, as well as Plant Production - Plant<br />

Selection, Plant Production - Plant Protection. Beside that, students can enroll these graduate study<br />

programmes: Organic Ariculture, Mechanization, Zootechnique - Domestic Animals Nutrition, Zootechnique<br />

- Hunting and Beekeeping, Zootechnique - Special Zootechnique. Some students also enrolled the following<br />

study programmes: Vegetable Growing and Floriculture, Fruit-growing, Viticulture and Wine Production.<br />

Professional study programme offers programme for BA in Agriculture (Management in Agriculture, Plant<br />

Production, Mechanization in Agriculture, Zootechnique).<br />

In this academic year there is again great interest for study programmes of the Faculty of Agriculture in Osijek,<br />

so that in the first enrollment round the quota was filled. There is especially great interest in Agroeconomics<br />

and Horticulture (undergraduate study programmes) as well as in professional study of Management in<br />

Agricuture.<br />

In the academic year 2009/2010 at the Faculty of Agriculture altogether 1366 students enrolled, among them<br />

there are 184 senior students who study according to both, «old programme» and undergraduate professional<br />

study programme. In the first study year there are 613 students who enrolled undergraduate, graduate and<br />

professional study programmes; 71% are full time students, 29% are part-time students.<br />

In the academic year 2009/2010 there are 628 students enrolled in undergraduate study programmes; in the<br />

1st year 295 of them, in the 2nd study year 250 students and in the 3rd study year altogether 83 students. In<br />

this reporting period 78 students graduated with an average grade 3,24.<br />

In the academic year 2009/2010 there are 177 students enrolled in graduate study programmes, in the 2nd<br />

year 97 students, so that there are totally 274 students in all graduate study programmes. The most popular<br />

study programmes are Zootechnique (56), Agroeconomics (54), Plant Production (42). Within graduate study<br />

programme Plant Production, the most popular are Plant Production (24) and Plant Protection (16), whereas<br />

in Zootechnique the greatest interest is for Hunting and beekeeping (34).<br />

In professional study programmes in the academic year 2009/2010 there are 280 students enrolled, 141 in the 1st<br />

year, 71 in the 2nd year, 68 in the 3rd study year. These figures refer to both, full-time and part-time students.<br />

In the academic year 2009/2010 altogether 228 students graduated with the average grade 3,30. Among<br />

graduated, 72 are students who enrolled so called «old programmes» and graduated with the average grade<br />

3,18 and 14 students who enrolled professional study programmes and graduated with the average grade<br />

2,88. In this reporting period 78 Bologna students graduated with the average grade 3,24. Within graduate<br />

study programmes 30 students graduated with the average grade 4,26. In professional study programmes<br />

34 students graduated with the average grade 3,02; the majority of them as students of Agroeconomics and<br />

Management in Agriculture.<br />

The best students in this academic year are Maja Kovačević (Agriculture-old programme) and Andrea<br />

Dominiković (graduate study programme Plant Production - Plant Protection), both with the average grade<br />

4,83; as well as Branimir Šimunović (graduate study programme Plant Production) with the average grade<br />

4,73; Aleksandra Bošnjak (undergraduate study programme Plant Production) with the average grade 4,69<br />

as well as Višnja Radović (graduate study programme Organic Agriculture ) with the average grade 4,67.<br />

Slavica Perković is the best student who graduated from professional study programme Management in<br />

Agriculture with the average grade 4,19.<br />
