Abstract: Copper (II) coordination compounds containing 2–phenyl–3–hydroxy–4(1H)–
quinolinone skeleton, variously substituted on 2–phenyl ring, were synthesised.
Compounds were characterized by elemental analysis (C, H, N, S), mass spectrometry
(ESI+, ESI–), infrared spectroscopy, thermal analysis (TG/DTA) and single crystal X–ray
analysis. Study of antimicrobial activity of chosen coordination compounds was carried
out.
Keywords:
Cu (II) complexes, 2–phenyl–3–hydroxy–4(1H)–
