ੴ ਸਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਿਨਰਭਉ ਿਨਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਿਤ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰ ਪਰ੍ਸਾਿਦ ॥
ੴ सित नामु करता पुरखु िनरभउ िनरवैरु अकाल मूरित अजूनी सैभं गुर पर्सािद ॥

ਰਾਮੁ ਿਸਮਿਰ ਰਾਮੁ ਿਸਮਿਰ ਇਹੈ ਤੇਰੈ ਕਾਿਜ ਹੈ ॥
रामु िसमिर रामु िसमिर इहै तेरै कािज है ॥
raam simar raam simar ihai tayrai kaaj hai.
Meditate in remembrance on the Lord - meditate on the Lord; this alone shall be of use to
you.
ਮਾਇਆ ਕੋ ਸੰਗੁ ਿਤਆਗੁ ਪਰ੍ਭ ਜੂ ਕੀ ਸਰਿਨ ਲਾਗੁ ॥
माइआ को संगु ितआगु पर्भ जू की सरिन लागु ॥
maa-i-aa ko sang ti-aag parabh joo kee saran laag.
Abandon your association with Maya, and take shelter in the Sanctuary of God.
ਜਗਤ ਸੁਖ ਮਾਨੁ ਿਮਿਥਆ ਝੂਠੋ ਸਭ ਸਾਜੁ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
जगत सुख मानु िमिथआ झूठो सभ साजु है ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
jagat sukh maan mithi-aa jhootho sabh saaj hai. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Remember that the pleasures of the world are false; this whole show is just an illusion.

ਸੁਪਨੇ ਿਜਉ ਧਨੁ ਪਛਾਨੁ ਕਾਹੇ ਪਿਰ ਕਰਤ ਮਾਨੁ ॥
सुपने िजउ धनु पछानु काहे पिर करत मानु ॥
supnay ji-o Dhan pachhaan kaahay par karat maan.
You must understand that this wealth is just a dream. Why are you so proud?
