<strong>Bannock</strong> <strong>Recipe</strong><br />
Ingredients<br />
o 1 ½ cup flour<br />
o ½ tbsp baking powder<br />
o ½ tsp salt<br />
o ¾ cup water<br />
o ½ cup raisins/blueberries<br />

small amount of flour for<br />
blueberries<br />

Mix the dry ingredients in a medium bowl:<br />
the flour<br />
the baking powder<br />
the salt<br />
the raisins/blueberries<br />
If you are using blueberries, coat them in<br />
flour and they will not turn the dough blue.<br />
Add water stirring constantly<br />
Knead the dough with your hands, sprinkling<br />
it lightly with flour<br />
When the dough is ready, mould it in the form<br />
of a flat cake around 4cm or 1 ½ inch thick.<br />
Place it on a greased cookie sheet.<br />
Cook your bannock in the oven at 425°F for<br />
20 minutes.<br />
Cut the bannock to serve it, you can eat it hot<br />
or cold.
