ArcSwing Stand Option<br />
An ArcSwing stand version (L557-AS) is now available as an option. This innovative<br />
stand has an arc-shaped range of movement that allows for quickly and easily<br />
adjusting the height, angle, and distance to accommodate the user's posture and<br />
viewing position.<br />
Fine Contrast<br />
A one-touch button on the front panel accesses five specialized image adjustment<br />
modes: Text, Picture, Movie, Custom and sRGB, each with its own settings for<br />
parameters such as color temperature, brightness and saturation.<br />

10-Bit Gamma Correction<br />
Produces smooth gradations of color with its 10-bit LUT (Look-Up Table) that<br />
automatically converts 8-bit data (256 gradations) received from the computer to 10-bit<br />
(1,021 gradations) and then reassigns this data back to 8-bits with the ideal gamma<br />
values. User-defined adjustment of the gamma level from 1.4 to 3.0 in increments of<br />
0.2 is possible through the OSD menu or ScreenManager ® Pro for LCD software.<br />
Brightness Stabilization Function<br />
Ensures stable brightness - necessary for the proper display of color - with <strong>EIZO</strong><br />
patented technology*. A drift correction sensor quickly stabilizes the brightness level<br />
after startup or coming out of power saving mode. Furthermore, the monitor detects<br />
and automatically compensates for brightness changes caused by surrounding<br />
temperatures and the passage of time.<br />
