MARGIAL OTES O THE EDUCATIO OF TEACHERS
The author briefly explains some questions about teachers' education. He presents
some facts about the duration of elementary teachers' education in the developed countries
and societies in transition and about modern trends in teachers' education as a component of
educational policy in the world. He particularly points out the necessity of the sociologic and
humanistic education of teachers' profiles.
In the end, some questions about the permanent teachers' education are mentioned, as
well as the methodological qualification of university teachers and the need for establishing
the financing of pupils and students in Croatia.
