Purpose of study:
In order to preserve traditional values and promoting
the development of rural tourism, the Tourist Board is
the project of the CBC wanted to live and practice show
that in all environments with conditions, can develop
this form of tourism, and through education, old crafts
and skills from oblivion.
Methodology/Approach:
The methodological approach is carried through the
first recording of situation on the ground, and background
research on the level of economic development in
partnerś countries. During the implementation of the
project as the method most used on the workshops interactive
approach to the subject through workshops of
old crafts and through interactive workshops on various
topics covered by the rural tourism.
Findings:
After sixteen months of project implementation, which
is evident and in function, is in Backi Petrovac reconstructed

tre for the advancement in the rural tourism. As well as
eco-ethno Adica center we equipped six accommodation
capacities in eco-ethno centre Adica, Furnished in
ethnic style, 2 classrooms for the education of old crafts
and outdoor classroom. There were workshops for gold
embroidery, pottery, weaving, and it is an ongoing workshop
drotarstva, ie, jewelry and objects made of wire.
For each trade organized two workshops for eight days,
three hours a day, and each group there were 20 participants.
In Backi Petrovac theoretical workshops were
held: Creating a business plan and model management,
Communication skills, Marketing and promotions.
Originality/Value:
Selecting the training modules we tried to choose a
native, but somewhat forgotten crafts, for which this
area was once known, and to avoid repetition of actions
implemented for training. Upon completion of the
training we will have 40 new people from each of 10 skilled
trades for the same. Theoretical modules are held at
cross-border partner arouse great interest and recorded
a large number of stakeholders, not just from Backi Petrovac,
but from all over Vojvodina.
Research limitations/Implications:
Some of the chosen craft already little disappearing, forgetting,
and for certain trades was very difficult to find a
coach, that person will teach the same.
Practical implications:
Našim edukativnim modulima želimo skrenuti pažnju,
ne samo na vještine i tehnike, već i na njihovu prirodnu
vezu kao i na vezu svih tih materijala s podnebljem,
čime „opravdavamo“ ideje tog izbora i uključivanja općenito
u temu bavljenja ruralnim turizmom.
