In the early 1980’s, based on years of field work, the
crafts were presented in interiors of reconstructed houses.
Settings are designed with the intention of rendering
an authentic home environment of children’s wooden
toy makers and segments of chandler workshops
and candle products.

Structured abstract
The distinctive masters from Laza have breathed in the
originality of handcrafting expression in the 19 th century,
whilst the chandler and honey-product maker
workshops were associated with the church and church
holidays.
With the organization of museum presentation of authentic
masters works, the efforts were focused on educating
the young generation about sustainability and
continuity of rare goods, worthy presenters of cultural
-touristic offer of the Museum “Staro selo” Kumrovec
and Krapinsko-zagorska county.
