KALAZIĆ
Vinarija Kalazić has developed into a Croatian class winery.
It owns 20ha of vineyards in Baranja (Banska kosa
region), where 12 different types of wine (7 premium
wines) are produced. Some of them have already won

numerous rewards. This way, not only wine enthusiasts
but also tourists can enjoy this wine-growing district -
the good example of oenotourism (wine tourism).
In this paper, methods and analysis techniques for information
collection were used, the outcome of which
may show other wine growers and wine makers how to
connect their production with tourism.
The wine tasting lounge is located at the Batinsko brdo.
In 2011 Vinarija Kalazić initiated opening of the exhibition
“Archaeological Heritage of Baranja” at this site,
which was originally set by the Archaeological Museum
Osijek.
Vinarija Kalazić presents a very good example of Croatian
economy: not only primary sector, but also secondary
and tertiary sectors are included in its work.
