Purpose of study:
The purpose of the research process is a complex evaluation
of the effects of tourism development and its
impact on the environment, which will be used for the
indicators proposed by the experts of the European Union,
on which during the last few years performing analytical
studies and monitors the development of tourism
in many tourist destinations in Europe. The application
involves the concept of institutional and organizational
support and involvement of all stakeholders.
Methodology/Approach:
The methods of induction and deduction allow consideration
of the general trends based on individual facts and
knowledge. The method of comparison, the comparison
will be used when comparing different practices have
been implemented in our domicile abroad and potential.
The paper will use qualitative methods of strategic
management: SWOT analysis, Stakeholders analysis
(analysis of key subjects from the environment). Also
be used empirical methods, as well as information and
observations obtained during the participation in scientific
congress, seminars and professional workshops.
Findings:
The study results to determine whether there is an integrated
approach to tourism planning, to consider the

discusses the economic instruments of environmental
protection, monitoring and the necessary IT support to

the creation of a tourist destination, which will ensure
long term economic growth and the preservation of inherited

The realization of the concept of sustainable tourism
calls for joint activities of tourism planners, experts
from different fields and key decision makers. Should
be based on an integrated approach, which includes
interconnection and cooperation of all the factors that
influence the development of tourism
Research limitations/Implications:
In this paper an analytical and critical approach to the
problem specified, the existing theoretical knowledge
from experience and practice, and thus points to the
positive and negative assumptions that are based on a
scientific background.
Practical implications:
Expected results of the study of sustainable tourism
development in the light of contemporary changes. By
examining successful experiences, the paper will define
the basis for successful development of protected areas,
which can be used in the implementation of other national
parks, the example of successful European experiences.
