evident in many segments of life and work, from bad
nutrition habits to the unconcern for the environment,
low level of the waste recycling, non-exploitation of the
renewable energy sources, non-existence of the standard
in building the energy efficient objects, disordered
law regulations etc.
Aware of such a situation the students of the Faculty of
Agriculture in Osijek have founded a NGO «Eco-Club»
and started a chain of activities for putting in action
the unique university eco-initiative with the goal to
faster disseminate the ecological innovations, which
can quicken the entire ecological modernisation of the
Croatian society and bring the development of the new
tourist products.
