Purpose of the research:
The aim of this paper is to present the role of the state in
development of rural tourism in the Republic of Serbia.
In order to show that the support of republican and provincial
institutions in the last five years.
Methodology:
Тhe main hypothesis of the research proceeds as follows:
For the development of rural tourism requires a
strong strategic and financial support of the state, which
should create the necessary environment to promote
the concept of development.The paper used quantitative,
comparative, empirical, analytical and synthetic
methods of research.
Structured abstract
Results:
In the Republic of Serbia in the period (2006 of 2011)
was present strategic and financial support to countries
developing rural tourism, but it was insufficient
for a stronger development of this form, rural tourism
that contributes most to diversification rural economy
and reduce regional disparities in development. To this
end, the need in the future a stronger financial support
to rural tourism development, as Republican as well as
provincial institutions and local authorities.
Contribution:
Display the current strategic and financial support to
countries developing rural tourism in Serbia and an
indication of its importance. Bearing in mind that the
Republic of Serbia takes the first place among the European
countries with huge regional differences in development,
and that the rural tourism is by all means the
most important factor contributing to minimizing these
disproportions, it is necessary to give this area of tourism
the priority in developmental policy of the Republic
of Serbia in the period to come.
Limitied research:
The inability of research over a longer period of time
due to the fact that this form of state support in the Republic
of Serbia introduced in 2006. year.
Practical application:
View the role of government in the development of rural
tourism in Serbia allows comparison with the state
support the development of this form of tourism in
neighboring countries and point out alternative ways of
improving.
