That is why ten oral histories of women with disabilities that are portrayed
here reflect their various difficulties and dilemmas, but also their successes,
directions in their proactive efforts to change the current situation – women
endeavouring in various ways on improving the social status of persons with
disabilities.
We thus jointly contribute to a better understanding of the situation, the
time, the social relationships, and directions to deconstruct them.
