Signe Isager, Birte Poulsen and Poul Pedersen all gave lectures at The
International Symposium on the occasion of 60 years of Swedish Research in
Labraunda, in Stockholm on the 21st of November. Signe Isager: “Labraunda
inscription no. 134 – a recent addition to the Olympichos file”. Birte Poulsen:
“Halikarnassos during Late Antiquity”. Poul Pedersen: “The Ionian
Renaissance – from the perspective of a Karian Lewis hole.”
Publications
Much work is devoted to publication work these years and in the spring
of 2008 vol. V of Halicarnassian Studies was published. It contains a number
of contributions by Dr. Aykut Özet, archaeologist Bahadır Berkaya Bodrum
Museum and Signe Isager, Anne Marie Carstens, Sisse Stine Hansen and Poul
Pedersen from the Danish Halikarnassos Project.
Volume VI by Birte Poulsen will be on the large late-Antique House of
Charidemos in Halikarnassos.
