With its newly developed CT with photon counting,<br />
Siemens Healthineers offers a new technology that<br />
stretches these limits considerably for clinical routine<br />
applications. The most important part of this innovative<br />
product is the new detector with photon counting feature.<br />
The device in question breaks new ground in computerized<br />
tomography technology, which plays a role in determining<br />
many medical decisions, with its new system concept and<br />
pioneering new detector technology.<br />
More than 15 years ago, work on photon-counting CT and<br />
this clinical vision started at Siemens Healthineers. The<br />
photon-counting CT was introduced at the online launch<br />
event held on Thursday, November 18, <strong>2021</strong>.<br />
