The VISION product range, developed under the<br />
slogan PACKAGING 4.0 – Integrated, Intuitive,<br />
Intelligent, significantly boosts the efficiency<br />
of W&H printing presses. The system is fully<br />
integrated into the printing press architecture<br />
and PROCONTROL operator console. A panel<br />
of monitors facilitates intuitive touchscreen and<br />
stylus operation. The maximum configuration<br />
includes modules for detecting the causes of print<br />
defects and intelligent automated troubleshooting.<br />
"The printer benefits from a uniform, modern<br />
operating concept for the printing press and<br />
print quality monitoring. The printing process<br />
is monitored directly across the entire machine.<br />
Process deviations are quickly detected and<br />
immediately corrected, making the machines<br />
much easier to operate, and considerably boosting<br />
performance and profits," explained Harte.<br />
The right assistance systems for each individual<br />
situation can be chosen by selecting from the<br />
various modules within the VISION system. VISION<br />
ZOOM uses a matrix camera for <strong>web</strong> monitoring.<br />
VISION FULL incorporates state-of-the-art, highresolution<br />
line cameras for early fault detection.<br />
These line cameras also help manage job<br />
changeovers as part of the EASY-SET and EASY-<br />
REG automation systems.<br />
VISION CHECK further adds to the configuration,<br />
with modules for determining the causes of print<br />
defects and intelligent automated troubleshooting,<br />
e.g. targeted cleaning processes and machine<br />
parameter adjustments.<br />
