Yapı Bilgi Modelleme’nin projeler üzerinde uygulanması bilgilerintasarımın gelişiminde öncelik sağlar. İlave detaylar planlamacı, tasarımcı ve inşaatçıların inşaatprojelerinin geliştirilme ve uygulama sürecine dâhil olan taraflar arasında daha iyi bilgi koordinasyonuyapmalarına imkân tanımaktadır. Yapı Bilgi Modelleme, inşa sürecinde çok öncedenkarar alınmasını geliştirmek ve inşaat sonrası değişiklikleri azaltmak için uygulanacak kapsamlıbilgi ve analiz geliştirme çalışmalarını kolaylaştırmaktadır.İyi tasarım bilgi kalitesiyle doğru orantılıdır. İstenilen bilgiye istenilen zamanda, istenilen formattave istenilen kapsamda erişim de mevcut bilgi miktarı ve kalitesiyle paraleldir. Dijital kütüphanelerve projeler oluşturma farklı yapı bilgi kaynaklarına ulaşmayı kolaylaştırdığı için, mimarlıkbüroları ve eğitim kurumları artık Yapı Bilgi Modelleme teknolojilerini kullanma üzerine dahafazla odaklanmalıdır.Çalışmada, Yapı Bilgi Modelleme konusu incelenerek, örnekler ile Yapı Bilgi Modellemeaktarılmaktadır.Anahtar Sözcükler: Yapı Bilgi Modelleme, Mimarlık, Tasarım/YapımBuilding Information Modeling and Examples in ArchitectureAbstract: The use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) on projects allows the informationto be pushed upstream in the design development. The added details allows planners, designersand builders to better coordinate information amongst the multiple parties involved in the processof developing and executing construction projects. One of the key advantages of BIM is that itfacilitates the development of detailed information and analysis much earlier in the building processto improve decision making and reduce downstream changes.Good design is directly proportional with the information quality. The access to the requested informationat the desired time, in the desired format and in the desired scope is also in parallel withthe existing information quantity and quality.
